The West End Patriots got by the visiting Kate Duncan Smith DAR Patriots softball squad by a final score of 7-6 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Patriots (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Glencoe (Glencoe, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league battle with a 24-11 record. In their last battle, Glencoe was edged by Collinsville (Collinsville, AL), 11-9, in a league battle.
The Patriots now possess a 9-13 record. They play next when they host Westminster Christian for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 19. Kate Duncan Smith DAR will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 11-4 league win over Randolph School (Huntsville, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-2.
