Ohio High School Baseball - Alliance loses to Avonworth

April 15, 2023: Alliance, OH 44601

The Avonworth Antelopes baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Alliance Aviators to 2 in the Antelopes non-league victory on Saturday.

The Antelopes now hold a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Allegheny for a WPIAL 3A 2 outing on Monday, April 17. Avonworth will confront a Gladiators team coming off a 13-6 non-league win over Sewickley Academy (Sewickley, PA). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-6.

Next, the Aviators confront the West Branch Warriors (Beloit, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye outing, on Tuesday, April 18. Alliance will attempt to advance on its 7-2 season record. The Warriors go into the outing with a 10-1 record after their 10-3 non-league win over Canton South (Canton, OH).
