Utah High School Baseball - Stansbury nudged by Alta

The Alta Hawks nudged the visiting Stansbury Stallions baseball team by a tally of 7-6 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Hawks now hold a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Orem for a 5A Region 8 bout on Monday, April 17. Alta will face a Tigers team coming off a 15-4 non-league win over Cottonwood (Salt Lake City, UT). The Tigers record now stands at 6-8.

Next, the Stallions face the Uintah Utes (Vernal, UT) in a 5A Region 7 battle, on Tuesday, April 18. Stansbury will attempt to move on its 9-3 season record. The Utes enter the battle with a 5-9 record after their 6-2 league win over Cottonwood (Salt Lake City, UT).
