Castle Knights (Newburgh, IN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Floyd Central Highlanders (Floyds Knobs, IN), 7-6 in a non-league test.

With the win, Castle upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Knights travel to South Spencer (Rockport, IN) to battle the Rebels in a non-league test on Monday, April 17. The Rebels come into the test with a record of 0-4. South Spencer lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Southridge (Huntingburg, IN)

With the defeat, Floyd Central falls to 2-2 on the season. The Highlanders host Trinity (Louisville, KY) to battle the Shamrocks in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 19. The Shamrocks come into the test with a record of 17-2.
