The University Trailblazers (Carmel, IN) baseball nipped the host Frankfort Hot Dogs (Frankfort, IN), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Trailblazers play the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 15. University will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Knights enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 11-7 league win over Benton Central (Oxford, IN).
The Hot Dogs now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Southmont for a Sagamore contest on Tuesday, April 18. Frankfort will play a Mounties squad coming off a 17-6 non-league win over Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN). The Mounties record now stands at 4-4.
