The Marengo Indians baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Grant Community Bulldogs to 8 in the Indians non-league victory on Saturday.
The Indians (10-4) will now prepare for their match against Harvard (Harvard, IL). The Hornets go into the Kishwaukee River match with a 0-7 record. In their last match, Harvard by Belvidere (Belvidere, IL), 7-5, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (3-9) will now prepare for their match against Grayslake North (Grayslake, IL). The Knights go into the Northern Lake County match with a 6-6 record. In their last match, Grayslake North by Carmel (Mundelein, IL), 16-4, in a non-league match.
