The Hayward Hurricanes crushed the visiting Lake Mills L-Cats baseball team by a count of 14-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Hurricanes now possess a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cumberland for a Heart O' North bout on Tuesday, April 18. Hayward will face a Beavers team coming off a 15-7 non-league win over Mondovi (Mondovi, WI). The Beavers record now stands at 2-3.
Next, the L-Cats face the Columbus Cardinals (Columbus, WI) in a Capitol - North bout, on Tuesday, April 18. Lake Mills will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 6-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Belleville (Belleville, WI).
