The Lincoln-Way East Griffins baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Lemont Lemont HS to 5 in the Griffins non-league victory on Saturday.
The Griffins (13-4) will now prepare for their match against Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Porters go into the South Suburban - Red match with a 9-5 record. In their last match, Lockport by Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL), 28-17, in a non-league match.
The Lemont HS (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Braves go into the South Suburban - Blue match with a 7-5 record. In their last match, Bremen edged St. Anne (St. Anne, IL), 16-6, in a non-league match.
