The Lewis Mills Spartans crushed the visiting Thomaston Bears baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Saturday's league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Bristol Central for a non-league bout on Monday, April 17. Lewis Mills will face a Rams team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over New Britain (New Britain, CT). The Rams record now stands at 4-0.
Next, the Bears face the Northwestern Regional Highlanders (Winsted, CT) in a Berkshire bout, on Monday, April 17. Thomaston will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Highlanders enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 7-0 non-league loss to Maloney (Meriden, CT).
