The Moberly Spartans crushed the visiting Palmyra Panthers baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centralia for a Class 4 District 6 bout on Tuesday, April 18. Moberly will face a Panthers team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Sturgeon (Sturgeon, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 4-6.
Next, the Panthers face the Hallsville Indians (Hallsville, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 17. Palmyra will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Indians enter the bout with a 8-2 record after their 7-4 non-league win over Mexico (Mexico, MO).
