The South Elgin Storm baseball team (South Elgin, IL), was overwhelmed 5-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL)
The Patriots now hold a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mundelein for a North Suburban outing on Monday, April 17. Stevenson will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-3.
Next, the Storm confront the Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL) in a Upstate Eight outing, on Monday, April 17. South Elgin will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Royals go into the outing with a 0-12 record after their 9-3 league loss to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL).
