In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Northgate Broncos volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Alhambra Bulldogs.
The Broncos (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against De Anza (El Sobrante, CA). The Dons come into the non-league battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, De Anza achieved victory over Kennedy (Richmond, CA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, April 18. Alhambra will attempt to advance on its 14-6 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 4-6 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Alhambra (Martinez, CA).
