California High School Volleyball - Elsinore edged by Esperanza

The Esperanza Aztecs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Elsinore Tigers to 1 in the Aztecs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Aztecs now have a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laguna Beach for a non-league game on Saturday, April 15. Esperanza will confront a Breakers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Breakers record now stands at 0-15.

The Tigers (24-4) will now prepare for their game against Oxford Academy (Cypress, CA). The Patriots enter the non-league game with a 12-5 record. In their last game, Oxford Academy held off Pioneer (Whittier, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
