The Sage Hill Lightning volleyball team (Newport Beach, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies (Santa Ana, CA)

The Grizzlies (16-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Magnolia (Anaheim, CA). The Sentinels come into the non-league challenge with a 14-7 record. In their last challenge, Magnolia was edged by Anaheim (Anaheim, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lightning encounter the Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Hills challenge, on Monday, April 17. Sage Hill will attempt to move on its 6-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 13-15 record after their 3-0 league win over Laguna Hills (Laguna Hills, CA).
