The Hawthorne Cougars topped the host Maywood CES Wolfpack volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars now have a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Culver City for a non-league test on Saturday, April 15. Hawthorne will confront a Centaurs team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA). The Centaurs record now stands at 5-15.
The Wolfpack (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Culver City (Culver City, CA). The Centaurs enter the non-league test with a 5-15 record. In their last test, Culver City dropped by Palos Verdes (Palos Verdes Estates, CA), 3-1, in a league test.
