The Pinecrest Patriots lacrosse squad (Southern Pines, NC), was nipped 12-11 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC)

Coming up next, the Vikings meet the North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC) in a Mideastern challenge, on Tuesday, April 18. Hoggard will attempt to improve on its 12-1 season record. The Scorpions enter the challenge with a 1-11 record after their 15-0 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC).

The Patriots now sport a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Middle Creek for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21.
