The Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) soccer bounced the visiting Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL), 5-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Braves now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Island Eisenhower for a South Suburban test on Tuesday, April 18. Bremen will meet a Cardinals squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Thornton Fractional North/Thornton Fractional South (Calumet City, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-7.
With the loss, Crete-Monee drops to 2-9 on the season. The Warriors host Beecher (Beecher, IL) to confront the Bobcats in a SICA challenge on Tuesday, April 18. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 7-6. Beecher won 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL)
