The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Tri-West Hendricks Bruins (Lizton, IN) and the visiting Decatur Central Hawks (Indianapolis, IN), saw Tri-West Hendricks's softball squad nip Decatur Central by a count of 8-4.

The Bruins now sport a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Lebanon for a match on Tuesday, April 25.

With the loss, Decatur Central falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Fishers (Fishers, IN) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Saturday, April 15. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 1-0. Fishers won 16-6 in their recent non-league match against Connersville (Connersville, IN)
