In Saturday's league test, the host Ward Melville Patriots lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-9 victory over the Connetquot T-Birds.

The Patriots now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southampton for a non-league test on Saturday, April 29.

In their next game, the T-Birds face the Patchogue-Medford Raiders (Medford, NY) in a Section 11 I test, on Tuesday, April 25. Connetquot will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 16-4 league loss to Sachem North (Lake Ronkonkoma, NY).
