The Copper Hills Grizzlies lacrosse squad (West Jordan, UT), was overwhelmed 18-3 in Saturday's non-league contest with the visiting Lone Peak Knights (Highland, UT)

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Juan Diego Catholic Soaring Eagle (Draper, UT) in a 4A South contest, on Monday, April 17. Lone Peak will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Soaring Eagle enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 9-5 league win over Waterford (Sandy, UT).

The Grizzlies now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Bingham for a 6A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, April 18. Copper Hills will confront a Miners squad coming off a 12-4 non-league loss to Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Miners record now stands at 3-4.
