The crowd at Saturday's non-league game between the Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) and the visiting Newtown Nighthawks (Newtown, CT), saw Hand's lacrosse team top Newtown by a margin of 17-4.

The Tigers (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Fairfield Prep (Fairfield, CT). The Jesuits enter the Southern Connecticut game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Fairfield Prep toppled Chaminade (Mineola, NY), 13-12, in a non-league game.

The Nighthawks (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Danbury (Danbury, CT). The Hatters enter the non-league game with a 1-5 record.
