Hoggard Vikings (Wilmington, NC) followers exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), 13-7 in a non-league battle.

The Vikings now have a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they host North Brunswick for a Mideastern battle on Tuesday, April 18. Hoggard will clash with a Scorpions squad coming off a 19-3 league loss to Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Scorpions record now stands at 3-9.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) in a United 8/All American/Sandhills battle, on Wednesday, April 19. Pinecrest will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Vikings come into the battle with a 5-9 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Garner (Garner, NC).
