Kentucky High School Lacrosse - Scott County drops to St. Albans

April 15, 2023: Georgetown, KY 40324

In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting St. Albans Red Dragons lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Scott County Cardinals.

The Red Dragons now have a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sayre for a non-league test on Saturday, April 15. St. Albans will face a Spartans squad coming off a 10-9 non-league loss to Louisville Collegiate (Louisville, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 3-8.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) in a KLA South - 4 test, on Wednesday, April 19. Scott County will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 8-2 record after their 13-5 league win over Woodford County (Versailles, KY).
