The Archbishop Hoban Knights (Akron, OH) softball routed the host Thornton Academy Trojans (Saco, ME), 10-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Knights (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Elyria (Elyria, OH). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 4-4 record. In their last bout, Elyria was routed by Elyria Catholic (Elyria, OH), 18-14, in a non-league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Manchester for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 15. Thornton Academy will confront a Greyhounds squad coming off a 13-6 non-league loss to Girard (Girard, OH). The Greyhounds record now stands at 8-1.
