The Pine Plains Bombers softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Bishop Kearney Kings to 5 in the Bombers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Pine Plains improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Bombers host Dover (Dover Plains, NY) to clash with the Dragons in a Mid Hudson Athletic game on Monday, April 17. The Dragons come into the game with a record of 1-1. Dover lost 26-21 in their recent league game against Millbrook (Millbrook, NY)

In their next game, the Kings clash with the Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) in a Class A game, on Monday, April 17. Bishop Kearney will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Little Irish come into the game with a 1-0 record after their 15-12 non-league win over Greece Athena/Odyssey/Olympia (Rochester, NY).
