With the triumph, Carlinville moves its record to 11-3 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Staunton (Staunton, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a South Central contest on Monday, April 17. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 8-5. Staunton lost 9-0 in their recent non-league contest against Freeburg (Freeburg, IL)

In their next game, the Rockets play the Lanphier Lions (Springfield, IL) in a Central State Eight contest, on Tuesday, April 18. Rochester will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Lions come into the contest with a 0-10 record after their 19-2 non-league loss to Warrensburg-Latham (Warrensburg, IL).
