North Jackson Chiefs (Stevenson, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Danville Hawks (Danville, AL), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Chiefs now own a 16-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cordova for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 15. North Jackson will battle a Blue Devils squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Skyline (Scottsboro, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 13-16.

With the loss, Danville falls to 9-15 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Priceville (Priceville, AL) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 17. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 9-3. Priceville won 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Madison Academy (Madison, AL)
