Dundee-Crown Chargers (Carpentersville, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Larkin Royals (Elgin, IL), 11-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Prairie Ridge for a Fox Valley challenge on Monday, April 17. Dundee-Crown will battle a Wolves squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Larkin falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL) to battle the Raiders in a Upstate Eight challenge on Monday, April 17. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Glenbard South lost 7-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Addison Trail (Addison, IL)
