The Johnston City Indians softball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Evansville Reitz Panthers to 10 in the Indians non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Johnston City moves its record to 17-4 on the year. The Indians host Vienna (Vienna, IL) to clash with the Eagles in a Black Diamond West game on Tuesday, April 18. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 6-6. Vienna lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against Benton (Benton, IL)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the South Spencer Rebels (Rockport, IN) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 19. Evansville Reitz will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 4-9 record after their 18-7 non-league loss to Jasper (Jasper, IN).
