Kentucky High School Softball - Marshall County holds off Franklin-Simpson

April 15, 2023: Benton, KY 42025

The Marshall County Marshals the visiting Franklin-Simpson Wildcats softball squad by a final score of 6-4 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Marshals (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Graves County (Mayfield, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Graves County by Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY), 5-4, in a non-league battle.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to South Warren for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 15. Franklin-Simpson will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY). The Spartans record now stands at 14-2.
