The Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL) softball the host Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL), 6-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pretzels (7-1) will now prepare for their bout against West Carroll (Savanna, IL). The Thunder go into the non-league bout with a 1-12 record. In their last bout, West Carroll was routed by Warren/Stockton (Warren, IL), 15-4, in a league bout.
