The Granite Falls Tigers softball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting Friday Harbor Wolverines to 5 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Granite Falls improves its record to 3-6 on the year. The Tigers host Sultan (Sultan, WA) to clash with the Turks in a 1A Emerald Sound game on Monday, April 17. The Turks come into the game with a record of 3-1. Sultan lost 20-3 in their recent league game against Cedar Park Christian (Bothell, WA)

In their next game, the Wolverines clash with the Coupeville Wolves (Coupeville, WA) in a 1B/2B Northwest game, on Tuesday, April 18. Friday Harbor will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Wolves come into the game with a 9-4 record after their 23-9 non-league win over Onalaska (Onalaska, WA).
