The Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI) softball routed the host Galena Pirates (Galena, IL), 12-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Hillmen (3-6) will now prepare for their bout against Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI). The Vikings come into the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Mount Horeb was routed by Milton (Milton, WI), 13-2, in a non-league game.
