The Union Cougars softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Gunnison Valley Bulldogs to 7 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Union moves its record to 10-6 on the year. The Cougars host Juab (Nephi, UT) to clash with the Wasps in a 3A Region 14 game on Tuesday, April 18. The Wasps come into the game with a record of 3-7. Juab won 7-1 in their recent league game against Delta (Delta, UT)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the South Summit Wildcats (Kamas, UT) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 18. Gunnison Valley will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 7-7 record after their 18-0 non-league win over Summit Academy (Bluffdale, UT).
