California High School Softball - Olympian bounces Helix

April 15, 2023: La Mesa, CA 91941

The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA) and the host Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), saw Olympian's softball squad nip Helix by a count of 7-3.

The Eagles now sport a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a non-league match on Saturday, April 15. Olympian will face a Cougars squad coming off a 12-6 non-league win over Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-4.

With the loss, Helix falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Valhalla (El Cajon, CA) to face the Norsemen in a non-league match on Monday, April 17. The Norsemen enter the match with a record of 6-6. Valhalla won 13-0 in their recent league match against Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA)
