Ohio High School Softball - Hopewell-Loudon bounces Margaretta

April 15, 2023: Bascom, OH 44809

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) and the visiting Margaretta Polar Bears (Castalia, OH), witnessed Hopewell-Loudon's softball squad tip Margaretta by a count of 6-0.

The Chieftains now sport a 11-0 record. They play next when they host Danbury for a Sandusky Bay - River match on Tuesday, April 18. Hopewell-Loudon will face a Lakers squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Old Fort (Old Fort, OH). The Lakers record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Margaretta moves to 6-7 on the season. The Polar bears host Edison (Milan, OH) to face the Chargers in a Sandusky Bay - Bay match on Tuesday, April 18. The Chargers go into the match with a record of 4-6. Edison lost 12-0 in their recent non-league match against Eastwood (Pemberville, OH)
