Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lakewood Lancers (Hebron, OH), 7-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Scotties now own a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they host Philo for a Muskingum Valley challenge on Monday, April 17. Tri-Valley will battle a Electrics squad coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Athens (The Plains, OH). The Electrics record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Lakewood falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Lancers host Heath (Heath, OH) to battle the Bulldogs in a Licking County challenge on Monday, April 17. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 8-5. Heath lost 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against John Glenn (New Concord, OH)
