Ohio High School Softball - Mayfield felled by Wickliffe

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Wickliffe Blue Devils softball squad scored a good 19-8 win over the Mayfield Wildcats.
The Blue Devils now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host West Geauga for a Chagrin Valley - Valley challenge on Monday, April 17. Wickliffe will battle a Wolverines squad coming off a 26-5 non-league win over Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Mayfield falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Madison (Madison, OH) to battle the Blue Streaks in a Western Reserve challenge on Monday, April 17. The Blue Streaks enter the challenge with a record of 4-5. Madison lost 11-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Geneva (Geneva, OH)
