Indiana High School Softball - Mitchell bounces Southwestern

The Mitchell Bluejackets routed the host Southwestern Rebels softball squad by a count of 18-3 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Bluejackets (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Scottsburg (Scottsburg, IN). The Warriors go into the non-league battle with a 7-1 record. In their last battle, Scottsburg was routed by New Albany (New Albany, IN), 7-3, in a non-league battle.

The Rebels now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they host South Ripley for a Ohio River Valley battle on Monday, April 17. Southwestern will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 23-0 non-league loss to Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN). The Raiders record now stands at 2-5.
