California High School Softball - Notre Dame gets by Oakdale

April 15, 2023: Oakdale, CA 95361

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Notre Dame Spirits (Salinas, CA) and the host Oakdale Mustangs (Oakdale, CA), witnessed Notre Dame's softball squad tip Oakdale by a count of 2-1.

The Spirits now sport a 10-4 record. They play next when they travel to Everett Alvarez for a PCAL - Gabilan match on Tuesday, April 18. Notre Dame will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Monterey (Monterey, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, Oakdale moves to 12-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Kimball (Tracy, CA) to meet the Jaguars in a Valley Oak League match on Tuesday, April 18. The Jaguars go into the match with a record of 9-4. Kimball lost 7-6 in their recent non-league match against Vintage (Napa, CA)
