The Solon Comets softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders to 6 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Solon improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Comets host Strongsville (Strongsville, OH) to clash with the Mustangs in a Greater Cleveland game on Wednesday, April 19. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 4-5. Strongsville lost 19-4 in their recent non-league game against Brecksville-Broadview Heights (Broadview Heights, OH)

In their next game, the Rough Riders clash with the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs (Stow, OH) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 18. Roosevelt will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 8-3 record after their 22-0 league win over Hudson (Hudson, OH).
