The West Feliciana Saints baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Central Private Redhawks to 9 in the Saints non-league victory on Monday.
The Saints (27-6) will now prepare for their match against Doyle (Livingston, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 16-12 record. In their last match, Doyle edged Port Barre (Port Barre, LA), 1-0, in a non-league challenge.
With the defeat, Central Private falls to 18-15 on the season. The Redhawks travel to Alexandria (Alexandria, LA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 18. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 16-11.
