In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Dixon Bulldogs baseball team scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Linn Wildcats.
The Bulldogs (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Bourbon (Bourbon, MO). The War Hawks go into the Class 3 District 9 game with a 4-6 record. In their last game, Bourbon tipped Bismarck (Bismarck, MO), 11-10, in a non-league game.
The Wildcats (6-10) will now prepare for their game against Russellville (Russellville, MO). The Indians go into the Class 2 District 8 game with a 5-12 record. In their last game, Russellville was edged by Southern Boone (Ashland, MO), 13-3, in a non-league game.
