The Princeville Princes baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Midland Timberwolves to 0 in the Princes non-league victory on Monday.
The Princes (5-10) will now prepare for their match against Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL). The Grey Ghosts go into the non-league match with a 11-5 record. In their last match, Illinois Valley Central ran past Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL), 11-3, in a league match.
The Timberwolves (5-11) will now prepare for their match against Stark County (Toulon, IL). The Rebels go into the non-league match with a 8-9 record. In their last match, Stark County was overwhelmed by Wethersfield/Annawan (Kewanee, IL), 6-0, in a league match.
