Spectators at Monday's non-league battle between the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) and the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC), saw Salisbury's baseball squad knock off North Mecklenburg by a count of 14-3.

Coming up next, the Hornets play the Reidsville Rams (Reidsville, NC) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 17. Salisbury will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Rams enter the battle with a 7-10 record after their 15-0 league win over North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC).
