The Von Steuben Panthers held off the host Lincoln Park Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.

The Panthers now have a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Whitney Young for a Chicago Public Gold test on Tuesday, April 16. Von Steuben will confront a Dolphins team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Dolphins record now stands at 3-7.

The Lions (5-3) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Chicago, IL). The Rough Riders enter the Chicago Public Red - North test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Roosevelt was nudged by North Grand (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
