The The Covenant Eagles lacrosse team scored 13 points and held the visiting Highland Hawks to 2 in the Eagles non-league win on Monday.
The Eagles (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Saint Gertrude (Richmond, VA). The Gators go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Saint Gertrude prevailed over Steward (Richmond, VA), 17-11, in a non-league game.
The Hawks (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Fredericksburg Academy (Fredericksburg, VA). The Falcons go into the Greater Piedmont game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Fredericksburg Academy was overwhelmed by Trinity Christian (Fairfax, VA), 12-10, in a non-league game.
