The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) and the host Liberty Lions (Jackson, NJ), saw St. John-Vianney's lacrosse team top Liberty by a margin of 17-5.

The Lancers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Neptune (Neptune, NJ). The Scarlet Fliers enter the Shore - Independence challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Neptune was overwhelmed by Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ), 9-3, in a league challenge.

The Lions (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Toms River East (Toms River, NJ). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 5-0 record.
