The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) and the host South County Stallions (Lorton, VA), saw West Springfield's lacrosse team nudge South County by a margin of 14-13.

The Spartans (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against West Potomac (Alexandria, VA). The Wolverines enter the Patriot challenge with a 9-2 record.

The Stallions (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions enter the Patriot challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Fairfax was tipped by Robinson (Fairfax, VA), 20-4, in a league challenge.
