The Kings Mountain Mountaineers the host North Gaston Wildcats baseball team by a count of 6-2 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Mountaineers now possess a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burns for a non-league bout on Monday, April 22. Kings Mountain will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-0.

Next, the Wildcats face the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 16. North Gaston will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Greenwave enter the bout with a 1-4 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC).
